Stansbury Animal Hospital was first conceptualized in 2005. At that time, the Roundy family of Tooele hired a veterinary specific architecture and construction firm to make their dream become a reality. The hospital was finally completed in May of 2011and opened for business that same month. The on-staff veterinarian is Ryan J. Roundy. Dr. Roundy received a Bachelors of Science degree from Utah State University in 2004 and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Drs. Joe and Ryan Roundy have over 36 years of combined veterinary experience. After serving the residents of Tooele for over 3 decades, the Roundy family recognized a need for a new, state-of-the-art facility in Stansbury Park in order to provide the residents of north Tooele County with quality veterinary care and services. Stansbury Park is growing in population and with that comes a demand for increased pet care services. Stansbury Animal Hospital offers the following services: new puppy and kitten exams, wellness exams, yearly vaccinations, dental procedures, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, in-house laboratory testing and boarding just to name a few. What makes Stansbury Animal Hospital different from other veterinary services in Tooele County is the new state-of-the-art facility that enhances the quality of care that Dr. Ryan Roundy can provide for your pets. They have digital X-rays to provide the best imaging studies you can possibly receive, full 8 body-vital-parameter anesthesia monitoring, an ICU and surgery recovery ward which is under the constant supervision of Dr. Ryan and staff, and a specially designed suite for future ultrasonography and endoscopy . The hospital also offers the only true luxury pet boarding in Tooele County. As our community grows, Stansbury Animal Hospital has the capability to staff 4 full-time veterinarians as well as any necessary support team. The Roundy family built this veterinary facility for the future of Stansbury Park and our growing community. Dr. Ryan Roundy's personal interests include hanging out with his wife and daughter, collecting motorcycles and antique cars, wakeboarding/snowboarding, cycling, and participating in triathlons
